Playing the Game
After installing the game, it is very helpful to use the free Practice Offline option first (simply choose Offline mode). This will allow you to familiarize yourself with the game and its units as well as confirm that your system meets the minimum system requirements. It will also often reveal any problems your system might have running the game that are not related to possible connection issues, which are always an extra variable in analyzing problems.
Clicking on a unit and enter (or double clicking) will spawn you in "Area 51" by default (located north of Scotland), a specially constructed terrain with gunnery range, race track, and extra large airfield. If you want to spawn in other areas of the map, first choose the unit, then click on "MAP" tab and drag the map to where you want to go. Just remember that aircraft can only spawn at airfields and boats in docks.

What should I do?
Join up with a Squad
Squads are great for learning the game basics quickly, as well as having someone to watch your six. Talk to other players about their squads and ask them to invite you. You'll be glad you did.
Fight as Infantry
Infantry have many options available, ranging from the backbone of any army, the rifleman, to specialists such as the sniper or anti-tank rifleman. Infantry are the most numerous units. Only they can capture facilities.
Drive Armor (Tanks and Vehicles)
Armor is very good at providing major firepower and controlling the wide-open spaces. However, in confined city streets or in dense woods, they must be very watchful for enemy sappers and anti-tank guns which can ambush them.
Critical to the movement of infantry and anti-tank and anti-aircraft guns are the trucks and haulers. Infantry transports can even create Mobile Spawns which infantry can enter the game world from.
Command Powerful Guns
Help defend key territory, or soften up a enemy-held town by taking control of anti-tank guns or anti-aircraft artillery.
Fly in the Air Force
Achieving and maintaining air superiority is vital in the outcome of almost any battle. Dive bombers can stop attacking tank columns in their tracks, but they are prey to faster and more nimble fighters. Level bombers are able to hurt their enemy's industrial capacity by targeting major factories.
Transport pilots are also needed to deliver paratroopers where they are needed.
Captain Navy Ships
The oceans, coasts and rivers are also avenues of warfare. While freighters haul precious supply cargoes from distant ports closer to the front, enemy destroyers hunt them. And riverine craft patrol the major rivers and harbors, wary for river crossings.
