Great Britain, also commonly referred to as the United Kingdom amongst others, is one of the playable Allied countries in Battleground Europe along with the French fighting against the Germans.
Armed Forces
The British Armed Forces consist of the British Expeditionary Force, which represents the small Expeditonary Force sent out to Europe in 1940 and remains all through the campaign. It is the smallest of all the Armies with just two ground divisions and one Paratroop division. The Air Force is the Royal Air Force and the Navy is the Royal Navy.
Equipment
In the early stages of a campaign the British ground units are primarily used as defence due to the lack of a decent scout car until Tier 1.
Until Tier 2 and 3 when the Churchill tanks, designed for infantry support, come into service the British tanks used are designed to be Cruiser tanks. The infamous Lee-Enfield rifle is considered to have the most stopping power of all the rifles in Battleground Europe.
The Spitfire and Hurricane fighter planes remain prominent all through a campaign and the Blenheim IV is considered to have the best bomb load of the Allied bombers.
