Adding pages in other languages.
Long-term, we need to upgrade the server this sits on and make some other adjustments. However, for now, there is a way to create pages in other languages that will be added to a link-bar at the bottom of the English pages, as you can see on the Main Page.
BASEPAGE must exist. ( e.g., Blootest ) Create new page with the name <BASEPAGE>/<two letter language code>. Blootest/es
- A quick way to do that. When you have <BASEPAGE> up, go to the address/location bar of your browser. The URL should be something like
http://wiki.wwiionline.com/index.php/Blootest
. - Add a
"/es"
to the end of the URL, for "Español". - Press Enter. This will create the new page.
Next, add your text to the page. I would just use placeholder text to start because there are a couple of things left to do. Save the page. Return to the BASEPAGE and edit it.
If{{Languages}} is on the page, Remove it. (Yes. Remove it). Then Save the page.
Finally, add {{Languages}} at the bottom of the edit window. Save the page.
