Axis Forces

Each campaign takes place in Western Europe. The Allies are blue, and Axis are red.

The three major Axis powers, Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy, and Imperial Japan were part of a military alliance on the signing of the Tripartite Pact on September 1940, which officially founded the Axis powers. At their zenith, the Axis powers ruled empires that dominated large parts of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Pacific Ocean, but World War II ended with their total defeat. One of Battleground Europe's two sides, the Axis are currently made up of only Germany. The High Command plans and directs brigade movements across the map. Certain radio channels are reserved for Axis communication in game.
